Analyst Role: Analysis Access Without Data Management

Workspaces now have an Analyst role for people who explore data and build analyses. Analysts get full access to the tools for that work and read-only access to the rest of the workspace.

What you get

  • A new Analyst option in the role selector on the Members page, alongside Admin, Data Steward, and Guest.
  • Full access to Formulas, Assist, Skills, Automations, and Reports.
  • Read-only access everywhere else, so analysts can look at data without managing it.
  • Analyst can be set as the default role for people who join through SSO auto-provisioning.
