Importing a file into Invert turns raw rows and columns into structured runs, properties, time series, events, and lineage. The new preview step lets you see exactly how that mapping resolved before the data commits — rendered in the same views you use everywhere else in Invert.
What you can see
- Run table for properties. Every mapped column is visible, scrollable record by record.
- Line charts for time series. Spot a stuck sensor or an off trace before it's in your dataset.
- Event table for events, lineage view for material flow.
- Summary panel alongside the preview. Record count, mapped parameters, date range, and warnings for unmapped columns or type mismatches.
