# Assist: New Sidebar Layout

Assist has moved into the sidebar. One click from anywhere in your existing Invert workflows.

**Artifacts open beside the chat**

When Assist generates a report or a plot, it now opens in a panel next to the conversation instead of inline in the message stream. Keep iterating in chat while you read the output, scroll a long report without scrolling away from your prompt, and jump between artifacts generated in the same session.
